Our data demonstrated the association of ILT4 and IL-10 expression in human breast cancer, suggesting their important roles in immune dysfunction and lymph node metastases.
High expression of IL-6/IL-10 was associated with clinicopathological criteria (e.g. hormone receptor status, all P < 0.05), improved disease-free survival (DFS; P < 0.05) and improved BC-specific survival (BCSS; only IL-6, P = 0.017).
CXCL9, CXCL10, CXCL11, CXCL13, CX3CL, CCL20, IL2, IL21, GZMB and IFNG expression decreased while IL10 and TGFβ increased in FOXP1hi compared to FOXP1lo primary BC.
A panel of PD-1 + IL-10 + IL-2Rα + CA15-3 showed the highest AUC (0.862), with a sensitivity of 0.933 and a specificity of 0.724, for BC-BBD discrimination.
Reduction of pLTA-mediated IL-10 inhibited the metastasis of breast cancer cells (MDA-MB-231), which was induced by IL-10 or conditioned media prepared from PGE-2+LPS-stimulated PMA-differentiated THP-1 cells.
Therefore, the combination of the expression of IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-10 may serve as promising biomarkers of MICs with prognostic significance, contributing to a better characterization of breast carcinomas microenvironment.
Here, we investigated the role of IL-10 in HLA-A2-positive breast cancer patients with Grade III, Stage IIA or IIB in-situ and invasive ductal carcinoma, and compared it with that of IL-2, the canonical CD8+ T cell growth factor.
Significant difference was noticed in the survival of SCC-Ag negative group compared with that of SCC-Ag positive group (P < .05).Serum IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, SCC-Ag, and CYFRA 21-1 were considered as potential markers in the metastasis and prognosis of breast cancer.
The other cytokine genotypes studied (IL-10, IL-6, IFN-gamma, and TNF-alpha production were not associated with breast cancer overall or relapse status.
Overall, this study demonstrates several distinctive features in circulating Tfr cells and suggests that Tfr cells may promote the formation of IL-10-producing B cells in BC.
We aimed to evaluate correlations between antioxidant (vitamin A/retinol, vitamin C, vitamin E, β-carotene, α-carotene, lycopene, lutein/zeaxanthin, β-cryptoxanthin, selenium, and zinc) intakes and protein expression levels of interleukin (IL)-6, tumor necrosis factor-α, C-reactive protein, cyclooxygenase-2, leptin, serum amyloid A1, signal transducer and activator of transcription 3, IL-8, IL-10, lactoferrin, and transforming growth factor-β measured in the normal breast tissue of 160 women diagnosed with breast cancer.
We're confused about some data in a recent article entitled "Polymorphic variation in IL-1, IL-6 and IL-10 genes, their circulating serum levels and breast cancer risk in Indian women", which was published online in Cytokine.
The aim of this study was to evaluate any role of specific SNPs in the interleukin genes IL1A, IL1B, IL1RN, IL4R, IL6 and IL10 in predisposition to breast cancer susceptibility and severity.
